Yorktown shut out Knightstown 5-0 on its home field. Hannah Rapp and Lizzie Smith each scored two goals for the Tigers, followed by Sarah Bade with one.
Delta tied Blackford 1-1. Morgan Sizemore had the Eagles’ lone goal. Allie Jennerjahn was the lone scorer for the Bruins.
BOYS SOCCER
Blackford tied Norwell 0-0. The Bruins (0-13-1) will face Christel House Watanabel Saturday at noon.
VOLLEYBALL
New Castle defeated Burris 25-12, 25-12, 25-20. The Trojans’ Peighton Barber helped guide the offense with 30 assists and served four aces. My Kel Ivy led all Owls with seven kills.
Winchester swept Union City 25-22, 25-19, 25-22. Morgan Friend covered the Golden Falcons’ defense, putting up 17 digs. Emily White added 14 digs and two aces.
Blue River took down Tri in four sets Wednesday (25-15, 21-25, 25-19, 25-17). Haley Morgan had 14 kills for the Vikings, followed by Kyleigh Alcorn and Breanna Koontz with 13 each.
Daleville defeated Winchester in three sets Wednesday (25-14, 25-19, 25-17). Kira Robinson and Shelby Miller led the Golden Falcons’ offense with four kills each.
